New Urban World Melodic Grooves - a sound that can only arise in the cultural melting pot of a metropolis like Berlin. Created by three virtuosos on their instruments, to whom cultural boundaries and musical stereotyping are completely alien.
The song material of New Urban World Melodic Grooves is fed by recordings made by the Berlin guitarist and composer Andreas Brunn with the Bulgarian saxophonist Vladimir Karparov and the compositions that Brunn performs with the South Tyrolean guitarist Simon Rainer. With New Urban World Melodic Grooves Brunn brings these respective duo partners together in a new formation. “The idea of exploring the musical and tonal possibilities with these two exceptional artists and developing a dense, groovy sound together was very exciting from the start,” recalls Brunn.
